CronCalc is a static page that happens to contain a calculator. The privacy story is short because there’s almost nothing to tell — but here’s all of it.

The tool’s inputs never leave your device

Every cron expression you type or build is parsed and evaluated by JavaScript running inside your browser tab. Nothing is transmitted — not the expressions, not the computed times, not a usage counter keyed to what you entered. You can confirm this yourself: watch the network panel while you type, or load the page once and go offline; the tool keeps working because it never needed a server in the first place.

What the hosting layer sees

The site is served through Cloudflare. Delivering a page inherently means Cloudflare processes standard request metadata — your IP address, user agent, the URL requested and a timestamp — for delivery, abuse protection and aggregate traffic measurement. We don’t run accounts or forms, so there is no user database for those logs to be joined against.

Advertising

Where ads are shown, they’re served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense, which may use cookies or similar identifiers for impression counting and — where permitted — personalization. You can disable personalized ads in Google’s Ads Settings or block third-party cookies; the calculator works identically either way, and its inputs are never part of any ad data.

Analytics

We may use aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics (no cross-site tracking, no individual profiles) to see which pages get read. Cron expressions you enter are never included in analytics events.

Your controls

• All articles read fine with JavaScript disabled; only the interactive tool needs it.
• Cookie and ad personalization choices live in your browser and your ad-network settings.
